Russell Muzzolini is Vice President of Imaging and Rendering at Shutterfly. He is responsible for defining Shutterfly’s imaging strategy, as well as leading the teams that architect and implement the solutions. Russ has been with Shutterfly for more than 10 years and has played a key role in developing Shutterfly’s highly scalable imaging platform. This platform includes Shutterfly’s print production systems, imaging functionality and industry standard workflows for commercial applications. During his tenure at Shutterfly, Russ has been a thought leader in the areas of computer graphics, digital imaging, and image based product software development. Prior to joining Shutterfly, Russ worked at Silicon Graphics, designing and developing specialized digital workflows for post production companies in the movie industry. Russ graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. A wine enthusiast, Russ tends to his personal vineyard and makes wine in his spare time. |
