Management Team

Albert Tsang is Vice President of Architecture and Platform Engineering, responsible for Shutterfly platform engineering, managing Shutterfly’s Shared Services Platform and evolving Shutterfly’s architecture to ensure product enablement, scalability and growth. Albert brings more than 15 years of experience in software architecture and design, product development and engineering operations to his role.

Albert joins Shutterfly from cFares, a leading consumer meta search engine for the travel industry, where he served as VP of Engineering and Technology and was responsible for software engineering, product strategy and design and engineering operations. Prior to cFares, Albert was Director of Engineering at Nextance, Inc. where he oversaw engineering of Nextance’s leading enterprise contract management products for Fortune 100 customers. Prior to Nextance, Albert served in various management roles at prominent VC funded startups including Silicon Energy, PowerMarket, and Tacit Software.

Albert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.

When not tinkering with technology, Albert enjoys volleyball, scuba diving, sailing, home construction and taking photos of his family and their two dachshunds Star-Star and Weed.
