Lab Operator

Production work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Meet and maintain productivity, quality and fulfillment expectations of the company.

Job Duties:

• Follow all Lab work rules.
• Follow all Lab safety rules.
• Meet productivity, quality and fulfillment expectations for assigned job.
• Follow company’s Best Practices.
• Maintain accurate and complete records. Fill out scrap reports, production sheets and logs.
• Ability to recognize and communicate production problems to Leads and Supervisors.
• Maintain your work area in a clean and safe condition.

Interaction:

• Follow direction of Leads and Supervisors.
• Promptly report errors and problems to Leads and Supervisors.
• Maintain a working professional relationship with other Shutterfly employees.
• Participate actively in department and 1 on 1 meetings.

Qualifications:

• Experience with high volume repetitive manufacturing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Previous Photofinishing, Press, Bindery or Shipping experiences a plus.

Job Specifications:

• Ability to work at a fast pace while standing.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Must be dependable, reliable and have a good work ethic.
• Must be flexible regarding scheduling due to the seasonal nature of the business.
• Ability to lift 25-30 lbs, mobility to crouch, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms.
• Adaptability to change, willingness to learn new jobs.
