The design is very nice but the custom text at the bottom was pixilated. The photo I uploaded was high resolution but printed dark with banding lines and low resolution print quality (you could easily see the ink dots).
I won't be using shutterfly again... no matter how tempting the coupon codes are!

christmas card
The card looks good, but it was difficult to do. I used a special that had very unclear restrictions. I had to build the card twice before I got the right promotion. It was time consuming and became a frustrating experience b/c I was never told what I was doing wrong, I just kept getting charges when there should have been none. I think it should be made more clear what products qualify for specials, like being able to sort the cards by size/type, instead of getting pages of hundreds of options and having to do extra searching on each one to figure out what might work. As stated before, it becomes very time consuming and frustrating. I'm a working mom and I don't have a lot of extra time.

I am very dissatisfied with this card. My photo had very high resolution, so I was expecting a clear vivid picture on my card. Instead, the faces on the card turned out very red and very poor quality. The finished product looked nothing like the proof. Furthermore, the cards were very expensive for the poor quality printing. I was too embarrassed to mail them.
The design of the card was very nice, and the weight of the card was what I desired, but the picture quality for such a high resolution photo was unacceptable.

great except back picture
This card, like all of the Shutterfly cards we have purchased, was top quality. My only complaint is that the picture on the back side is way to small for anyone to see! There is no reason it cannot be bigger - there certainly is the space, but it is so small you can hardly see what it is.

Christmas Card 2012
We loved our Christmas Card this year and received many complements on it asking where we got them and I gladly told everyone Shutterfly. But I also made a book for a Christmas present, we have ordered several over the years, and when it was received was lovely. The pages in the book only lasted until the end of Christmas day before they started coming out. They did not rip they just came unglued and started falling out. Please contact me about replacing this Christmas present to my father-in-law. Thank you. I was so sad this happened on a present. We usually have no problems with the books I order from you.

Pic poor quality
The 3 pics on the cover were poor quality. Our card failed compared to others we received. Not sure who's fault was it that our name does not appear on the card. Not on the front nor the inside.

High Quality and Speed
I was late ordering my Christmas cards and worried that they would not arrive on time. Shutterfly delivered my cards ahead of schedule and they are of the highest quality. I will definitely use Shutterfly again.

Terrible service
I am an old Kodak gallery user (probably 10 years or more) and I find Shutterfly a great disappointment.
With respect to the specific card, the instructions stated that if I left a picture blank, the surrounding black box would not be printed. This turned out to be false. (Strike 1)
My first incorrect order was divided into two printings and shipments. I ordered Dec 6 and received the first shipment in reasonable time, but the second half was delayed by another week (at Christmas time where getting your cards out, this is not acceptable. (Strike 2)
After several calls, I re did the order with a picture in the non-vanishing black box and was told that I would receive them on Dec 18. Not true. I received them on the 19th with it being shipped 'FedEx overnight' (Strike 3)
And worse, the revised cards still printed with the black box and no picture! (Strike 4)
Separate from this specific order, the website is chaotic at best, unclear as to how to do things, pictures do not sort properly by date (so I have to upload with sequencing numbers), my kodak gallery pictures are randomly ordered so it is almost impossible to find those older pictures. I use to be able to tell when someone had visited a particular gallery, but in Shutterfly I have to generate a completely new structure to do that but then the whole set of galleries it is open to everyone(Strikes 5-10).
Sure hope that I can find a reasonable alternative.

Christmas Card
The "create on line" Christmas cards are a great value for the price. Assembling the four pages of the card was made easy through the step-by-step instructions. The printed photo colors came out closer than I expected to the digital colors. Great job by the Shutterfly technicians!

Loved them!
These were so bright and beautiful! My son actually thought they were a Christmas gift for him when they came in the mail! (We do a lot of photo gifts at our house). We even had family members call to thank us as soon as they opened these cards.
Shutterfly photos look so much more professional than what you get at the drug store.

Merry Christmas Card
The card was faithful to the colors of my painting and photograph. I was also especially happy with the value. Too often a card company will print something too light or dark...this was just right! Nicely done! My only comment was a bit of the other parts of the card were a little faded in areas...and in the ordering process I was told a square card would cost more, and in reality, it didn't. Otherwise, I was VERY happy!

Poor Quality
While the card design and paper stock is nice, the printing quality of the picture was terrible. I haven't even mailed these to people b/c they look so grainy and bad. I'm disappointed with this order. This happened last year too with Shutterfly. I'd like a refund or for Shutterfly to re-do the order and produce better quality prints.
