Card picture quality
I have ordered my cards from shutterfly for ten years now. This year will probably be my last. The pictures look grainy and washed out. It would do Shutterfly a service to actually have a live person view the card before you print the entire order.
The pictures I took were up close, good quality. The preview looked great. The final product was not. This has happened the last few times I have ordered. I will gladly pay more to have a company produce the cards while also making sure the pictures look great. with all the technology today, there is no excuse. I could produce the same quality picture on a card myself at a fraction of what I paid.
I understand the money back guarantee, but I would rather have someone do a quality control check prior to the shipment going out!

Christmas Cards
I recently purchased photo cards which displayed two photos. I felt like I had to "settle" for the card I chose. I wasn't able to size the pictures or zoom in/out the way I would have liked so they look a little strange.

Best card I ever made! Tons of compliments too!
Love the classic Christmas look to this card. I even put the 4 kids pics and a little blurb about there interests inside. It was a crisp, clean look, not overloaded. I have never received so many compliments on our card until this one. Waited for a coupon tho! Thanks Shutterfly!

Yuletide Holly Christmas Card
I chose this card because the greeting is printed in a reminiscent font from the days when Christmas actually meant something to people. I have had Shutterfly do my Christmas cards and photo albums for quite a while now and never had a complaint. The cards are so easy and you can write a review of your year which is printed on every card so no longer so much hand writing which I always dreaded. I have never used another such company so I cannot compare. Since I am happy with Shutterfly, I will stay with them. I am very pleased with the way this card turned out.
