Birth Announcements I struggled with finding a birth announcement that didn't cut off my pictures. After creating and tossing 8 different styles I settled on an announcement I didn't love but that would let me use the pictures I wanted. I chose the soft focus option which I thought would look really soft and pretty like they did on the computer screen. When I got them I really didn't like them. It made the announcements look really cheap and out of focus not a "soft" focus. It was too late to send them back so I just used them. I will say I was a little embarassed to send them out as they looked super cheap. I did not have this issue when I used Shutterfly last time for my sons birth announcements so I am not sure what has changed. Also, I got a free code for birth announcements and my shutterfly account would NOT let me use it so it was quite pointless. I did double check to make sure I selected an announcement and not just a card. This was dissappointing all around I hope someone else has better luck than me. October 18, 2012
