I'm amazed at the influence Love in action can have on a young child. I was seven when the events of this story took place in December,1945. It remains in my fondest memories. I have shared it many times with family and friends and deemed it worthy to do a written account of our neighbors' kindness toward us in a post depression era. It is an exciting Christmas Eve story.
Adults and Children alike enjoy this short story.
