Q: What material are the Mount Cards made of? What size(s) are the Mount Cards?
A: Our Mount Cards are made of various cards stock and are roughly 5½x7½-inch in size. For exact sizing please review the details of the mount card desired. Photos are sold separately.

Q: What is the size of the print that can be mounted?
A: Most Mount cards can be used with 4x6 or 3x5 size prints. Shutterfly only offers 4x6 prints at this time and are sold separately. Either adhesive or tape tabs for mounting photos is included with the mount cards.

Q: Where is the print inserted? Will the image be pre-inserted in the Mount Card?
A: The one print is mounted to one mounted card by the customer upon receipt. Photos are sold separately.

Q: Will Mount Cards arrive in the same package as Prints?
A: Photos are sold separately.

Q: Will Mount Cards arrive with envelopes?
A: Yes. To determine what style of envelopes please click on the ‘learn more’ link for each mount card.

Q: How many prints can I use in a Mount Card?
A: Only one print is used per Mount Card, and are sold in either sets of 10 or 12. Please review the description of the mount card to determine the quantity of each set by clicking on the ‘learn more’ link.

Q: Can Mount Cards be direct mailed?
A: No. Mount cards are sold in sets. To determine the set size please read the details of the mount card desired by clicking on the ‘learn more’ link.

Q: What is the processing time for Mount Cards?
A: Once an order is placed for an Mount cards, the order is typically processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. Photos are sold separately and will take 1 to 2 business days to process. For more information on processing times, please visit our Order Status page.

Q: Can I add text/borders to my print for the Mount Cards?
A: Due to the nature of that way photos are mounted it is not recommended that text or borders be added to images when ordering for a mount card. Our recommendation is to use effects such as black and white, sepia tone on photos you wish to mount inside the card.

Q: Will an invoice arrive with the Mount Cards?
A: Shutterfly does understand that orders placed from our site are sent as gifts. A packing slip is included with all orders shipped, however it does not include pricing information. Pricing information regarding the order will be sent to the customer in their order confirmation email. We also offer customers the ability to include gift notes when shipping the order to other customers.
