Q: How do I create a Snapbook?
A: Creating a Snapbook is easy! You may wish to print this page for reference.

Getting Started

First, sign in to your Shutterfly account and click the Shutterfly Store button on the green navigation bar. Then on the next page, select the Snapbooks option under 'Shop by cateogry??. Click the picture of the Snapbook (or the Snapbooks link in the text below the picture) to get started.

At this point, you can edit a Snapbook - if you already have one in progress - or you can start a new Snapbook.

Note: at any time during the process, you can click the Save as a project link on the right to save your Snapbook and return to it at a later date to modify or order it.

Selecting a style

If you are creating a new Snapbook, the next step is to select the style. Shutterfly offers eight different styles of Snapbooks, plus a pictures-only style. Choose which style you would like.

Note that some of the styles include a matching border. This border will be applied to the entire Snapbook if you choose that style; and may result in the actual size of the picture being less than the Snapbook size you choose (4×6 or 5×7). Snapbooks created using the 'Pictures only' style will have the maximum possible picture size on the paper.

Choose pictures for the Snapbook

Once you have chosen a style, you will be able to choose pictures for the Snapbook, using the standard picture-selection method used throughout Shutterfly. Once you have chosen pictures, you will be taken to the 'Edit Snapbook' screen.

Edit your Snapbook

On the 'Edit Snapbook' screen, you will see all the pictures that are in your Snapbook. Here, you can add or change captions; you can add or change the title on the title page; you can add pictures to the Snapbook or remove them; and you can arrange the order of pictures in the Snapbook. When you are done, click the blue Next button to be taken to the preview page.

Preview your Snapbook

Be sure to preview your Snapbook carefully, as Shutterfly is not responsible for unsatisfactory prints due to customer error. Be sure to check spelling, punctuation, image rotation, etc.

Choose recipients and order

When you are done previewing your Snapbook, the next step is to choose the recipient(s) and add the Snapbook to your order. From there, you can order the Snapbook. You can also add cards, gifts, frames, or prints to your order from there.
