ornaments I loved the two pewter ornaments I ordered. Unfortunately I previously ordered 3 ceramic ornaments - 2 as gifts for others - and they were awful. I truly wish I returned them because they were very blurry even though on the preview it showed the picture to be clear. I had to give the two as gifts but I was embarrassed to be giving a gift that wasn't nice. I was afraid to order the pewter ornaments because I wasn't sure they would be clear but thankfully they were. I wish you would have offered me a survey for the ceramic ornaments because I was completely dissatisfied, wasted money on them, and gave gifts that weren't great. Is there anything that can be done to fix the ceramic ornament issue? March 3, 2013
Nice Pewter Ornament The pewter ornament is very nice, shiny, sturdy, and classy. I am not sure how the picture is attached to the ornament and I hope it stays put over the years. I believe Shutterfly had another version of this ornament which I could not find but it was a little smaller and the picture was actually a part of the ornament (not glued on, somehow). Beautiful ornament but be careful This ornament turned out great. The quality is exceptional. The ornament is a little smaller than I would like, but it still looks good. My only real criticism is that when you are ordering it, you can't tell that the frame takes up part of the picture, so my picture goes to the very edge. It still looked ok with my picture, but if I had known that the frame was going to take up some of the space, I would have cropped it a little differently. In my opinion, the picture as shown when you order it should be exactly what you see. It shouldn't be made smaller by the frame. January 30, 2013
Nice Ornament Decided to try one of these when I had a coupon. It is a quality product- nice heavy weight. Don't know that I would pay full price but well worth it if you have a coupon or it is on sale. Used a picture of my 2 kids and will probably make one for each of them. This could easily be displayed throughout the year- not just Xmas. It might be nice if engraving the year on the back was an option (ex: 2012). Wish Shutterfly would bring back the Lucite key ring that was previously offered. January 29, 2013

Pewter Ornament This year our family decided to give ornaments as gifts. I chose to give the pewter ornament to my son and family from their trip to China. They were very excited to get a permanent reminder of their Great trip that they can hang on their tree every year. This ornament turned out really well!! Good weight, good picture, I just wish it was a little bigger. I have been pleased with EVERYTHING that I have purchased from Shutterfly, and I will certainly continue to do so in the future!! Didn't look like the preview image. Since Shutterfly doesn't include a year on the frame, I decided to add one to the photo. I was careful to add the year high enough on the photo so there would be plenty of room around it when framed. On the 'preview page' to check how it looks before ordering it looked fine, and the year was totally visible with room to spare. The ornament I recieved has the bottom portion of the numbers cut off, nothing like the 'preview'. If I had known what it would really look like I would have re-edited. The ornament itself is very nice and good quality. It's a shame that Shutterfly doesn't give an accurate preview to see what the finished product will look like. I'm surprised that this made it past any quality check. January 24, 2013
Poor Photo Quality I've generally been happy with the quality of my prints from Shutterfly but the quality of their ornaments is very poor. I thought this would be different since it looks like it's a framed print. I was wrong. The photo quality on the ornament was blurry & blown out. (I've printed the photo I used in the ornament several times and it's a very high quality photo file, so I know it was Shutterfly's production process, not my photo that looked bad.) The ornament itself was nicely packaged and looked like it was of good quality but the photo processing was poor quality. January 23, 2013
Pewter Ornament is like an heirloom Yes, these ornaments are somewhat expensive but they are SO well worth it. They are NOT frames into which you slip a photograph. The photo itself is sealed behind a beautiful piece of beveled glass and sits seamlessly on the shiny pewter backing. It's substantial in weight (not flimsy at all but not too heavy). I buy these as presents and also give them to my family members in remembrance of a great picture, experience or achievement. We have them hanging in our home all year round, not just at Christmas. Pewter Christmas Ornament I love the workmanship & quality. It's very well made. I wish there was an option to have monogramming done on the back. I plan on taking it to be monogrammed, however, it could have been one stop shopping. I am very pleased with this ornament. Shutterfly delivers high quality items. January 11, 2013

Pewter ornament This is a beautiful, high quality keepsake of our baby's first Christmas. It will become a family tradition to capture one memory in pewter for posterity. It was easy to swap the ribbon for one that matches my tree. My only recommendation would be to attach a small pewter hanger with the date so that others will know it was in 2012. January 11, 2013

Fantastic quality I've purchased these ornaments for the last four years. They're fantastic. there is a clear coating over the photo and the metal has nice clean lines - no bumps. And they come in a small white velour gift bag that says shutterfly in small print on the corner. I've given one as a grandparents gift and they hang it on the wall all year round. December 30, 2012
Just OK I ordered this ornament & the ceramic one & was disappointed with the pewter ornament. The packaging was nice & the fancy red ribbon was too but I liked the ceramic one better...maybe because it could be personalized on the back. December 28, 2012
