Tri-State Band Festival Field Competition
The 57th Tri-State Band Festival is the longest running marching band competition in the region. Bands from MN, SD, and IA participated in parade and field competition on September 29, 2007.

	Brandon Valley Located in Brandon, SD, Brandon Valley High School serves the Brandon and Valley Springs area. The 171 member Marching Lynx are directed by Kevin Kessler.
	Dell Rapids From Dell Rapids, SD, the Dell Rapids Quarriers are directed by Brian Smith.
	Huron Director Larry Petersen leads the 87 member Huron Tiger Marching Band from Huron, SD.
	Lennox Bob Kramer directs the 67 member Lennox, SD High School Band.
	Luverne Jesse Miller and Mary Goheen lead the 93 member Luverne, Minnesota High School Marching Band.
	Madison From Madison, SD, the 66 member "Spirit of Madison" Band is under the direction of Lucas Sursely.
	Mitchell Based in Mitchell, SD, the 119 member Mitchell High School Marching Band is directed by Ryan Stahle.
	O'Gorman The Marching Knights of Sioux Falls O'Gorman High School are under the direction of Jim Smith and Dave Haugen.
	Parkston The 67 member Marching Trojans from Parkston, SD are under the direction of Danny Eye.
	Pipestone Area Under the direction of Michael Hench, the 81 member Pipestone Area Marching Arrows are based in Pipestone, Minnesota.
	Sibley-Ocheyedan The Sibley-Ocheydan Marching Generals, located in Sibley, Iowa, are directed by Peter Carlson. Their band has 115 members.
	Sioux Center Derek Beekhuizen directs the Sioux Center High School Band, located in Sioux Center, Iowa.
	Washington The Washington Warriors High School Band is located in Sioux Falls, SD. Jennifer K. Hawkinson and Jason Rygg direct.
	West Central Hilarie Cole directs the 62 member West Central High School Band located in Hartford, SD.
	West Lyon Located near Inwood, Iowa, West Lyon Community School is the home of the Marching Wildcats, directed by Lynette Wedeking.
	Worthington In Worthington, Minnesota, Worthington High School is home to the Worthington Trojan Marching Band.
