Optical Resolution: The physical resolution at which a device such as a digital camera can capture an image.

Optical Zoom: Optical zoom uses lenses to increase or decrease the magnification of the image being captured. An image taken using optical zoom has as high a resolution as the camera allows. Digital zoom, on the other hand, results in lower resolution. (See: Digital Zoom)

Over-exposure Over-exposure indicates that light sensitive material has been excessively exposed. In the digital imaging process, over-exposure may also referred to as blooming.
