Greeting Cards — now easier than ever to make! From start to finish, you’ll find creating and ordering Greeting Cards to be a breeze at Shutterfly. We’ve streamlined the process and added new features so you can:
Easily browse and select borders, including our just-added collection of several new holiday designs Quickly add personal greetings to your Greeting Card, change the color and type style Create personalized messages to different recipients (for instance, tell Grandma Sue that you can’t wait to see her for the holidays, or wish Uncle Frank a Merry Christmas in Paris). Shutterfly will then mail the cards directly for you, if you wish.

		Get set for the season with Shutterfly! Hard to believe, but the holidays are right around the corner. And one way to enjoy them is to take care of as many details in advance. In the weeks ahead, we’ll be providing tips to help you get ready. Here are some things you can do right now:
		Start thinking of gift ideas! Take the time to think of a unique present that will really be appreciated; get inspiration from our collection of truly personal gifts. Get your international orders ready: Collect addresses, get gift ideas together, and so forth. Remember, overseas mailings need far more time than domestic shipments. For more details, see “Ask Mike” at the end of this issue.
		Put your photos together. If you’re planning on ordering a Calendar, Photo Book or Photo Gift as a present, gather your photos together — and take new ones to add to the mix. Order Cards now. Last month, we asked you how you’ve used our new Softcover Photo Books — and discovered that you’ve been making them for virtually every occasion! Here’s a response that may provide inspiration for your holiday gift giving:

“In the past year, we’ve added a baby, a dog, and a cat to our family! Needless to say, it’s been an exciting time…one that we want to share with friends. So we made Softcover Photo Books…and used captions…to detail “A Year in the Life”. We’re going to do the same…for the holidays…and everyone that wants to know what’s been going on with us…will certainly find out!”

		Got a question? Mike Landreth, Shutterfly’s Customer Service Manager, has the answers.
		Q: Can Shutterfly send my orders overseas in time for the holidays? A: Yes! In fact, Shutterfly ships to over 200 countries around the world. And sending prints and products to friends and family abroad is as easy as sending them within the United States. If you’re planning to ship orders internationally, keep these items in mind: - Be sure to enter a complete and accurate address. Include any local postal codes or other information that may aid the delivery. - We use a courier service that delivers the order to the destination country within a few days. Once in the destination country, orders are delivered by the local postal service. - The majority of international orders are delivered within 7 to 10 days, but shipments to remote locations can take longer. It’s a good idea to allow 1 to 3 weeks for delivery, depending upon the destination. Keep in mind that orders can be delayed in customs, although our courier does a great job of expediting them. - Your recipient may have to pay duty or other import fees. These fees depend upon the destination country’s policies and the content of the order. Many countries treat photographs as printed material, and little or no fees apply.
