“My favorite thing that we did was while taking our pictures before the ceremony was that I held a black sign that said "Thank" in white & my husband held a white sign that said "You" in black. We then used that picture to be printed on the front of note cards as our thank you cards to be sent out after the wedding! EVERYONE loved it, even people who didn't go to the wedding compliment us on the idea!”

“I asked a "representative" from each of the important groups to us (my college friends, his college friends, his work friends, my family, his family, etc.) to organize a picture. They would get everyone together, find the photographer, then find us. We just had to walk up and the picture was done. We have great group shots, but we never had to stand around waiting for someone to find Uncle Fred, or my old roommate for the picture to be complete!”

“I didn't use pictures at the reception, but did set up a wedding website that contained not only information about the wedding, but also pictures of everyone in the wedding party, and shots leading up to the big day. I felt this allowed an easy way for us to communicate with everyone and allow them all to feel a part of the process.”

 Craig P., Harrisburg, PA | |
“I had a laptop with a card reader that was hooked up to a projector and a screen. I invited guests to bring up their digital camera and load a copy on the laptop for us, as well to show immediately on the large screen throughout the night.”

“We used a slideshow set to music to showcase my husband and I's childhood all the way through our courtship and engagement. It was a great way for friends/family to feel like they got to know each of us a bit better!”
