What customers have to say about our Christmas Cards

Love these snowflake Christmas cards!
"I always order our Christmas cards through Shutterfly but was so excited to see a Christmas card that doubles as an ornament. The cards are on very thick cardstock and are shaped like snowflakes. You can choose a picture and wording for both the front and the back. The cards come with a hole punched in the top of the card as well as gray ribbons to place through that hole for hanging the ornament/card. The size of the card is 6x6 I believe. If you get the square envelopes it will cost extra postage to mail them. Shutterfly gives you the option of a rectangle envelope which will cost just the regular price to mail so just be sure to click on that option when it comes to the envelope part of the editing. One thing I love about Shutterfly is that their color calibration on their photos cards and other items are always nice and consistent which I haven't found to be the case with other companies. Several times during the Christmas season Shutterfly offers 10 free cards when you only have to pay shipping. I designed my card ahead of time so that I am able to get free cards each time they are offered. All in all a great product!"

A Nice, Unconventional Holiday Card
"We chose this card due to the fact that it did not look like a traditional holiday card. Additionally, the year was quite eventful for us; and, as a result, we had several pictures we wanted to include to help recap the year. This particular card enabled us to include six photos on the front and one photo on the back. (I think you can use up to eight photos on the front though.)
Keep in mind that you may need to do a bit of cropping when placing photos on the front of the card. This is because the template for the holiday card won't accept photos done in landscape format (ie, rectangular photos) but it is easy to use the photo editing feature in Shutterfly to do the cropping. Also note that any text on your chosen photos probably won't be readable on the printed card. Thus, plan to put your captions elsewhere.
There's also room on the front of the card for a special message. My suggestion here is to go to a smaller sized font as the default size will not allow you to say much on this part of the card.
Another key feature of this card - which is an improvement from previous years - is that you are able to include one photo on the back. There's also a fairly large text box here as well and this is the area where we placed a more detailed message along with captions for photos shown on the front of the card.
Overall we were pleased with the entire "creative" process. Designing the card was simple; the Shutterfly service was fast; the price was right; the card stock was high quality; and we were all happy with the end result."

Professional Looking Card
"Shutterfly produced a nice holiday greeting card that I can send to friends and family. The shipping and handling charge was expensive though."
Square Christmas Cards
While you are undoubtedly close to the friends and family to whom you will be sending season’s greetings this year, the fact of the matter is that they are likely going to run out of space on their refrigerators because of all the other cards they will be receiving around the same time. As much as you may want to have the largest and most noticeable cards available, the reality is that going with a set of square Christmas cards is probably a better alternative. While these cards may not take up a full standard mailing envelope, they have more than enough personality to make up for it.
Big Smiles, Compact Cards
Though they are physically smaller than traditional cards, the flat Christmas cards at Shutterfly still afford you plenty of opportunities to make them your own. We have numerous designs available with all manner of holiday-oriented graphics and messages. In addition, there are a couple of choices for the type of paper used in you order as well as several options for the cards’ trim including rounded and scalloped edges. Combine a few of these personalization elements with a great family photo, and you have a Christmas card that is sure to stand out from the rest.
Preparations for Any Occasion
If you have some kind of event or celebration coming in the near future, then Shutterfly has the means to make sure that all of your bases are covered, regardless of whether you’re an attendee or the host. For instance, if you want to hold a surprise get-together for your soon-to-be-wed friend, invest in a set of our bridal shower invitations to celebrate your friend's upcoming big day. On the other hand, if a friend is moving into a new place, you might consider one of our canvas prints as a housewarming gift.
