What customers have to say about our Save the Date

Save the Date cards

"This card is simple and to the point, just the way we want it. Although the corner of the save the date column looks a bit funny, we still like the simplistic style to this card. The only complaint we have is actually how the save the date portion is positioned on the left on almost all the save the date cards' design, except for this "Label of Love" one!!!. We originally were going with "Best Date Ever Save The Date", because the save the date portion looks simpler and the fonts for the date are much bigger and eye catching. But the problem with most of the one-photo save the date cards on this website is that the "save the date" portion is almost always on the left. It is already hard to decide on what's our favorite photo to put on a save the date card, having to pick a photo that fit the design just adds another layer of complication."

A Lot of Bang For Your Buck!

"I was really nervous about using Shutterfly for the save-the-dates for mine and Darik's October wedding, until my friend sent me a save-the-date for her wedding also made by Shutterfly. I spent some time playing around with the layouts of several "favorited" templates, which I highly recommend especially if you're planning to have photos on your cards. I was worried that the pictures might be too small as many of our engagement photos were not close up shots. So I took a shot and was blown away when my little orange box arrived. The pictures were perfectly clear and it looks absolutely gorgeous! I simply love it! Also, I might add, the delivery time was pretty spectacular too. I ordered mine exactly a week ago on Memorial Day weekend and althouh they weren't originally supposed to arrive until next week, I still got them last night, Friday, despite the Federal holiday. Shutterfly is awesome! :-)"

Incredible Save the Date

"I choose this save the date because it was not only romantic but it had the perfect amount of "country style" to it. My fiance and I love how it came out. It is a little bit bigger than I thought but thats my fault because I didn't read the description throughly. Only suggestion would be to know exactly what you ant written on the back of the Save the Date. Overall very pleased with it!"

Save the Date Success!

"We wanted a cute save the date but we wanted it to be a high quality. We started looking on the internet and found the Shutterfly experience to be easy and great. We could not have asked for a better product. All our friends love the "Boldly Stated Save The Date." Thanks Shutterfly!"

Classic Save The Date Cards

When planning your wedding, eliminating as much hassle as possible is critical to your sanity. Achieving a simple, yet elegant theme for your special day is made simpler when you take advantage of the many design resources available. From printing classic save the date cards, to coordinating a sophisticated table arrangement, take the complications out of the process by keeping it traditional and straightforward.

Less Planning, More Celebration

Using design templates doesn’t make your wedding any less special. In fact, they can improve upon the experience by alleviating stress levels and streamlining the planning process. Instead of starting from scratch, take a look at how others have planned their weddings, borrowing ideas as needed. The theme of your wedding is not what makes the day memorable, you do.

Stick to Your Theme

Finding the right look for your wedding accoutrements boils down to sticking to a common theme. Though this may seem more difficult to achieve, it actually simplifies planning. Once you have a décor scheme in mind, simply select patterns and colors that fit accordingly. Sticking to a theme keeps the decision making to a minimum. If it doesn’t match, it’s not for you.

From Invitations to Parting Gifts

Here’s how you can begin to think about a common theme. In a traditional white and gold theme, for instance, start by selecting classic save the date cards that meet your criteria and expand from there, tying subsequent elements together. Remember that the wording of your wedding annoucement should match the overall theme. Try matching wedding favors, each complete with a commemorative souvenir of the special day, like a picture frame or paper weight. Ultimately, keep it simple; the essence of elegance and sophistication is minimalism.

Designing a beautiful wedding does not have to be an endless series of decisions. Keep it straightforward and commit to a basic, yet elegant theme. You may find that in the end, less is more when it comes to designing your dream wedding.
