Happiest Memories Christmas Card
Bad Ink Color
The ink was so light it was impossible to read the family member names, which were also very small. If you choose this card, I would select a dark ink for the family name and individual names below, as opposed to the recommended/default color.

The cards came out beautiful, and I really liked the high quality of the paper. LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS!!!!

I ordered this card before reading the low-rated reviews. I really like how it looked when I received it in the mail. The fading on the card matched the action that I used to soften my picture. As previously stated, if you are going with a patterned back, use a bold font so it shows up. After much debating about which holiday card to choose, I am very happy with the results.

Love this card!
Gold is THE color this season so I was thrilled to find this card. The font is awesome and the polka dots around the card really help border the photo without overpowering it. Quality is great-- I've gotten compliments from everyone I mailed one too!

cute design, but card has flaws
I had high hopes for this holiday card since I was using a picture from my wedding. The design of the card really stood out to me, but if you are ordering this card you should know a couple things.
I used a professional wedding photo for the card and the design makes the photo fade into the words Happiest of Holidays. The effect would be okay but it made this professional picture look like it was of poor quality and definitely wasn't printed as bright as the actual photo would be.
I agree with what other have said that the gold writing for our names was hard to read...you'd have to change the color.
Lastly, if choosing a design on the back of any of the cards, I recommend a solid color or pattern that is not too bold if you want your text to be legible.
The great news is I expressed my concerns with Shutterfly and they have awesome customer service. My cards from a new design are beautiful and I used the same picture. It printed bright and professional looking.

I have to agree with the other reviewer, the family name, and individual names are almost completely illegible unless you have a white picture background, which we did not. The preview didn't have a zoom feature or else I would have caught this problem. You would think the design team would know better than to do this. Overall I really liked the look of it, but I'm ultimately disappointed that I have to get this fixed. Hopefully customer service will be good.

My husband and I were extremely disappointed with the quality and finished look of this card. The printing was grainy, the finish was extremely dull and pattern selected for the back side of the card overpowered the picture and the text. When we previewed the card online prior to ordering, the pattern did not seem to be a problem, but when printed, it looks horrendous.
Having not ordered from Shutterfly before, I expected, like other similar sites, that they would alert to this sort of potential problem in the preview stage. This would have been very helpful.
We also were not pleased with the large size of the shutterfly and paper logo on the bottom back of the card. It is unneccessary for this to be so large and to stand out so much. It ruins the personal feel of the card and could have been done in a much more minimilistic way.
Unfortunately I would not order from Shutterfly again based on this experience. There are many other companies that charge much less and provide much better quality.
We are very dissappointed as we were planning on using this site to create photo books but no longer feel comfortable doing so.
