2012 Holiday Cards
"Our family and friends loved our 2012 holiday cards! Normally we go to JCPenny to have our holiday pictures taken, but due to a timing and procrastination issue, we would not have recieved the cards back in time to mail them out before Christmas, so we pulled out the camera and the tripod and starting snapping pictures of the family. We uploaded the pictrues on Tuesday, ordered the cards on Wednesday and had cards in our hands by Friday. Now that we know how professional the cards came out, we will be ordering future holiday and special occasion cards from Shutterfly more often."

"I create art so instead of a photo of me, I send out a photo of an art piece on my Christmas Cards. This year I have used 3 different companies to create cards....shutterfly, my publisher, and thru my Mac photo program. Shutterfly was the best because of clarity and quality of digital photo, you can create on the front AND the back of the card, the fonts for changing type are expansive and the heavy weight card stock is a premium.
I also photographed and digitally enhanced photo's of my friends houses and created note cards with their homes on the front. Then will give them as Christmas gifts. Again the quality was superior and I am really pleased with the heavy weight card stock and lovely envelopes. I was also able to create return address labels with my design."

"The printing is nice and clear--I was able to adjust my photos the way I wanted. If I do this again I'll look for heads that are about the same size--but that wasn't a problem of Shutterfly's. I'm happy with this card."

"I love the Panda cards and matching address labels. The quality is excellent and they both meet my expectations. I will certainly purchase more cards and labels in the future."

Planning a Brilliant Holiday Party
As the winter season approaches many people start thinking about planning a holiday party. Winter is the perfect time of year to light up the darkness with candles, twinkling Christmas lights, lanterns, and even cozy glowing fireplaces. This year, let your holiday season sparkle with a brilliant spirit all its own. Make light and warmth the theme this year with the help of elegant decorations, delicious food, and festive company. Your guests will be looking forward to this grand affair from the moment they receive their monogram holiday cards or other themed holiday invitations.
The Perfect Mix of People
Your holiday party starts with the perfect mix of guests. The number of guests and their personalities can significantly improve the evening for everyone involved. Consider ways to bring talkative and introverted guests into balance. Seating people together a few round tables is a nice arrangement. If you are planning on having an open house, sprinkle a few small diameter tables throughout your home to encourage snacking and conversation.
Bringing Your Theme Home
The holiday season is the perfect time to find all kinds of party supplies for a celebration focused on sparkles and shimmers. Look for items such as:
Glittery sprigs and artificial sprays to tuck into flower arrangements
Holiday wreaths with shiny features or gold-tone ribbon
Party invitations with glitter or shimmering elements
Colorful glass ornaments that will twinkle on the Christmas tree
Attractive gift bags made with gold, silver, or colorful metallic paper
Creating the Perfect Holiday Soiree
A few strategic elements can communicate your theme. For instance, create an evergreen centerpiece for the buffet table with the help of a shiny vase or floral container. Use small lamps to light the walkway towards your front door. Decorate your home with a starry theme that suggests warmth and comfort on these cold winter nights. Your guests will be talking about your party for months to come. Be sure to view these christmas party ideas to get into the holiday spirit.
