What customers have to say about our Christmas Cards

Love these snowflake Christmas cards!

"I always order our Christmas cards through Shutterfly but was so excited to see a Christmas card that doubles as an ornament. The cards are on very thick cardstock and are shaped like snowflakes. You can choose a picture and wording for both the front and the back. The cards come with a hole punched in the top of the card as well as gray ribbons to place through that hole for hanging the ornament/card. The size of the card is 6x6 I believe. If you get the square envelopes it will cost extra postage to mail them. Shutterfly gives you the option of a rectangle envelope which will cost just the regular price to mail so just be sure to click on that option when it comes to the envelope part of the editing. One thing I love about Shutterfly is that their color calibration on their photos cards and other items are always nice and consistent which I haven't found to be the case with other companies. Several times during the Christmas season Shutterfly offers 10 free cards when you only have to pay shipping. I designed my card ahead of time so that I am able to get free cards each time they are offered. All in all a great product!"

A Nice, Unconventional Holiday Card

"We chose this card due to the fact that it did not look like a traditional holiday card. Additionally, the year was quite eventful for us; and, as a result, we had several pictures we wanted to include to help recap the year. This particular card enabled us to include six photos on the front and one photo on the back. (I think you can use up to eight photos on the front though.) Keep in mind that you may need to do a bit of cropping when placing photos on the front of the card. This is because the template for the holiday card won't accept photos done in landscape format (ie, rectangular photos) but it is easy to use the photo editing feature in Shutterfly to do the cropping. Also note that any text on your chosen photos probably won't be readable on the printed card. Thus, plan to put your captions elsewhere. There's also room on the front of the card for a special message. My suggestion here is to go to a smaller sized font as the default size will not allow you to say much on this part of the card. Another key feature of this card - which is an improvement from previous years - is that you are able to include one photo on the back. There's also a fairly large text box here as well and this is the area where we placed a more detailed message along with captions for photos shown on the front of the card. Overall we were pleased with the entire "creative" process. Designing the card was simple; the Shutterfly service was fast; the price was right; the card stock was high quality; and we were all happy with the end result."

Nice layout

"I liked the colors and the layout of the card, we used the larger shot of the whole family, and the smaller picture of just the kids. I was disappointed that the names are not easy to see, the font is small and the black color does not show up well on the green background. Before ordering see if you can get that changed somehow. I did not notice it before they came in the mail and would have changed it if I had."

Love the Photo Cards

"Easy to turn your photo into a beautiful Photo Christmas card to share with special friends and family. The order came quickly. Appreciate the hints and helps that lead me through putting everything on the card I wanted (even the back). I chose two pictures for the front and one for the back and put my own verse on the card. Loved them."

Orange Christmas Cards

As Christmas approaches, you will be thinking about what special gifts to purchase for the important people in your life. Whether you will be exchanging gifts in person under the Christmas Tree, or mailing gifts to far away family and friends, finding the perfect gifts can be quite the task. While you are gift shopping, do not forget to pick up season's greetings Christmas cards. You can choose ones that fit the typical holiday colors, or go wild with some green Christmas cards this season. Bright colors are always fun, even if they are outside the normal.

Check Social Media

If that special someone in your life is closemouthed about what they want for Christmas, check out their online accounts. Is there anything they talk about often? A movie or book they are waiting on a release date for? Social media is a great way to find a gift for someone that they really want. For friends or family members who don't use social media, you will just have to be a ninja and sneak into their closet for better information. (Just don't get caught.)

Personalized Gifts

Personalized gifts are another great way to show someone you care. You can use a photo of you together, or a favorite of their family. Maybe they love to travel and you have some great vista shots to turn into a collage poster. You can also use photos to make decorative and useful items. For the writer in your life, a custom notebook or journal would be a thoughtful gift.

There is a huge thrill watching a friend or family member open their Christmas gift and receive something they really love. Getting personal is a great way to accomplish this, your gift will get a lot of use instead of being tucked into a back room somewhere. While shopping for gifts, don't forget your holiday cards and decorations. Orange Christmas cards are especially unique, so how about trying something different this year?
