What customers have to say about our Christmas Cards

Love these snowflake Christmas cards!
"I always order our Christmas cards through Shutterfly but was so excited to see a Christmas card that doubles as an ornament. The cards are on very thick cardstock and are shaped like snowflakes. You can choose a picture and wording for both the front and the back. The cards come with a hole punched in the top of the card as well as gray ribbons to place through that hole for hanging the ornament/card. The size of the card is 6x6 I believe. If you get the square envelopes it will cost extra postage to mail them. Shutterfly gives you the option of a rectangle envelope which will cost just the regular price to mail so just be sure to click on that option when it comes to the envelope part of the editing. One thing I love about Shutterfly is that their color calibration on their photos cards and other items are always nice and consistent which I haven't found to be the case with other companies. Several times during the Christmas season Shutterfly offers 10 free cards when you only have to pay shipping. I designed my card ahead of time so that I am able to get free cards each time they are offered. All in all a great product!"

A Nice, Unconventional Holiday Card
"We chose this card due to the fact that it did not look like a traditional holiday card. Additionally, the year was quite eventful for us; and, as a result, we had several pictures we wanted to include to help recap the year. This particular card enabled us to include six photos on the front and one photo on the back. (I think you can use up to eight photos on the front though.)
Keep in mind that you may need to do a bit of cropping when placing photos on the front of the card. This is because the template for the holiday card won't accept photos done in landscape format (ie, rectangular photos) but it is easy to use the photo editing feature in Shutterfly to do the cropping. Also note that any text on your chosen photos probably won't be readable on the printed card. Thus, plan to put your captions elsewhere.
There's also room on the front of the card for a special message. My suggestion here is to go to a smaller sized font as the default size will not allow you to say much on this part of the card.
Another key feature of this card - which is an improvement from previous years - is that you are able to include one photo on the back. There's also a fairly large text box here as well and this is the area where we placed a more detailed message along with captions for photos shown on the front of the card.
Overall we were pleased with the entire "creative" process. Designing the card was simple; the Shutterfly service was fast; the price was right; the card stock was high quality; and we were all happy with the end result."

Professional Looking Card
"Shutterfly produced a nice holiday greeting card that I can send to friends and family. The shipping and handling charge was expensive though."
Yellow Christmas Cards
The holidays are great times to bond with the children in your life. Creating decorations is not only a fun activity to enjoy, but it also creates mementoes that you can cherish for years to come, not to mention the fond memories. Check out these three fun and creative decoration ideas.
1. Reindeer Ornaments
These ornaments are a breeze to create, and are safe for little ones to help throughout the process. You can either purchase colored ornaments or have the children paint them the color of their choice. Then, place some brown paint on their thumb and have them press it against the ornament. This will create the face of the reindeer. Complete the process by using black paint to add the facial features and antlers. If you like, you can also add a red nose!
2. Card Chains
You can make this chain using some old glitter Christmas cards from years past, or new ones, such as these yellow Christmas cards, to create this fun decoration. You simply need a long string or wire, and a whole puncher. Some cards may already be designed to function as ornaments, which you can easily add to the wire. Otherwise, simply make a whole and string it on the wire or string. Then you can hang the card chain on a wall or over a doorpost to bring in that festive feel.
3. Hot Chocolate Jars
Collect all of the ingredients for your favorite hot chocolate combination and a few mason jars. Together, pour the hot chocolate into the bottom of the jar, then begin to layer the additional dressings. You can create these as party favors, decorations or Christmas night treats!
These are just a few of the many different do-it-yourself Christmas cards that you can create with your little ones. Consider these ideas or get creative and think of your own personalized decorations. Either way, enjoy this special time with your loved ones.
