"One of your photos on canvas. Makes your photos more like "real art"! I was completely blown away by the first Canvas Print I designed and ordered. It arrived and seriously looked like an artist had done a portrait on canvas. I gave it to my mom for Mother's Day! She absolutely loves it. I was even more blown away by the second Canvas Print I designed and ordered. I gave this one to my wife as a gift. It is the first picture of us she has wanted to display in our home. She is very picky when it comes to pictures, photos and artwork. She loves the canvas, the picture quality and the thick frame. The Canvas Print is a conversation piece. Everyone who comes to our home asks about and typically throws out compliments. I used different frames on each, which gave each a distinct look. I will be making some more art via the Design Your Own Canvas Print in the very near future. I highly recommend."
"I am a retired professional photographer. It should go without saying that I grew up in the film age. In the age of film paper and chemicals we would print on the paper separate the image layer of the paper from the backing. Heat and pressure mount the emulsion side to the canvas stretch it and attach it to the stretcher frame. We would then spray with a lacquer to give the appearance of a brush stroke. So much for history. I've had some experience now with the digital age and the newer canvas printing methods and I can say that Shutterfly canvas prints are as good (for the most part) as prints coming out of the pro labs. Given a good or marginally good image Shutterfly will return you a good print. So with all this praise I have given Shutterfly why only four stars? The question of archival quality or how long the print will retain its color quality has not yet been answered to my satisfaction. I will get back to you when I turn 165 with my answer. In the meanwhile go ahead and order the prints from Shutterfly."
"I was afraid that making the picture so large that the picture could have been distorted but it looks great."
"All the canvas art I have created from my photos are of the highest quality, and I am pleased and proud to have them grace my walls. Thank you, Shutterfly, for your bright orange packages. Every year since my granddaughter was born, I created calendars for all family members. After a vacation, I create a photo album. I have never been disappointed."
"THE COLLAGE CAME OUT NICE BOUGHT AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR MY FRIEND. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT."
Have you completely run out of Christmas gift ideas for the most important people on your annual list? While it may be tempting to buy a bunch of gift cards for everyone, such a common gift probably won’t mean a lot to the recipients. Here are a few creative ideas for gifts that you will be proud to present to each person on your Christmas list.
Your parents will love practically anything that is personalized with photos of their family. Beige canvas prints are ideal because they are neutral in color and can match practically any style. Some more great choices for parents include customized desktop plaques and collage frames filled with photos of your parents spending time with family.
Your spouse deserves to receive a thoughtful Christmas gift, so it is important to keep his or her unique interests and needs in mind when gift shopping. If your spouse is adventurous, consider purchasing an annual national parks pass and using it as a stocking stuffer. If your spouse prefers vegging at home watching movies, a fleece photo blanket will provide sentimental warmth while they watch their favorite show.
Young kids are ridiculously easy to shop for and will appreciate almost anything you give them. For most young kids, toys, memory games and candy are all they need for a merry Christmas. Older kids and teenagers, on the other hand, can be notoriously hard to please. In most cases, tech gifts are a great choice for teenagers. They also typically love fun and personalized home décor items like shag carpets and cool lamps to adorn their rooms. Try purchasing gaming chairs for your game-loving teens or guitar lessons for the aspiring young musicians in your life.
This list is not all-inclusive and simply offers creative ideas to get you started. Taking a little time to consider the personalities and interests of each person on your list will help you choose Christmas gifts that will be treasured for years to come.
