Your Baby is the Size of a Kidney Bean
Your baby is growing one millimeter every day at this point, which is a very fast rate considering how small it still is. The lungs, hands and feet are starting to develop and their eyelids completely cover their eyes now. They won't be able to open their eyes for a few more months, because it takes a while for them to develop to the point of handling light. Breathing tubes are extending from the throat to the branches of the lungs, and it is also developing 100 new brain cells every minute!
Your changing hormones contribute to fatigue and a heightened sense of smell, which in turn contributes to that pesky nausea. It's also time to start buying new bras. You may need a larger size and will definitely need more support over the coming months.
DID YOU KNOW?
Babies cry in the womb, but not because they are sad. They are just practicing for the real world.
