Your Baby is the Size of a Grapefruit

Sounds can now be heard by baby, so you can teach them to love your favorite music before they're even born. The baby's skin is still a bit saggy because that grows a lot faster than the fat, but it will actually double its weight over the next month, so that saggy skin won't be there much longer. The skin is also taking on a reddish hue because of the veins and arteries developing underneath. A simple stethoscope is now all you need to hear the baby's heartbeat.

Your Pregnancy

Blood circulation has begun to slow, so lie on your left side or put your feet up when you can, and avoid sitting or standing for long periods of time. It's also a good idea for you and your partner to discuss finances for the baby if you haven't already.
