Your Baby is the Size of a Rutabaga
Hair begins to grow, and baby fat replaces the wrinkly skin. That skin is beginning to turn pink as well, as small vessels called capillaries are forming under the skin and filling with blood. Your baby has also developed a sense of direction, and can tell which way is up and which is down.
Thanks to hormonal changes, your hair may be more thick and lustrous than it ever has. You'll also want to avoid lying flat on your back and excessive exercise, as it may cause you to lose your balance easily.
