Your Baby is the Size of a Cauliflower

Weighing in at over two pounds and longer than a Subway footlong sandwich, your baby continues to grow so fast. The baby is able to open and close their eyes as well, and the brain is very active as it continues to develop. Your baby can now be measured head to toe rather than head to rump as it begins to stretch out and explore the space of your womb. That complicated network of nerves developing inside your baby now allows them to hear the conversations you have.

Your Pregnancy

You may find your leg muscles cramping up due to the extra weight they have to support. Stretching or massaging your calf muscles will help. You can also do exercises to help your body prepare for labor, specifically those that strengthen your hips and pelvic floor.


It's not just your belly that changes; your hair, nails and skin can all become darker or grow faster.
