Sweet 16 Birthday Invitations
"These invitations turned out so nice. The color of the pictures on the invitations is exactly the same color as the original pictures I used. My daughter's friends received these and thought they were so cute! I personally chose pictures of my daughter from a young baby to within the past month so you could see her gradually grow into a SWEET 16!!! The quality of the paper is very good and the order arrived within a few days from the day I placed the order. I have been ordering from Shutterfly for a few years now; and once again I am so pleased with the quality of your product. Keep up the great work and continue to offer new products. I will save one of the invitations for my daughter's memory album. Thank you again for the many ways you offer beautiful keepsake memories!!!!"

Sweet Sixteen Invitations
"I really like this invitation! It's snazzy and accommodates quite a bit of information on the card. The actual invite looks exactly like it does online and I am very pleased with the end product.
The only observation I have is that I ordered the invites on a Monday and received the ones for hand delivery by Thursday (2+ weeks before the party). I was so impressed with the delivery time. Although, the majority of the invites were to be addressed and mailed by Shutterfly and those invites were not delivered until 4 days prior to the party (2 days past the RSVP date). Very disappointing! I will use Shutterfly in the future, but this was the first and last time I will pay Shutterfly to mail invites on my behalf."

high quality card
"The photo printed great and I was impressed with the thickness of both the card and the envelope it came with. Would definitely order again!"

"I love these cards. They are personalized with my photos and good quality paper. My family and friends appreciate the personal touch when they receive my photo cards on their special occasion."

Four photos on one card
"I love being able to put 4 photos of our place in Maine and the areas around it on one card to use as thank you notes and regular note cards. I always receive good comments from the recipients, too. Uploading the photos, making the cards and receiving them takes about a week, a very easy process. How much nicer it is to send these than a card from the store! I also use this format for Christmas cards with photos of the grandchildren and our travels."
Create the Perfect Invitations for Your Teen’s Birthday Party
Hosting your teen’s birthday party will bring you right back to the days of your youth. It also happens to be a great way to meet all of their friends and their friends’ parents. Before you know it, they will be out of the house, so share this special time in their life with a wonderful birthday party. Shutterfly has you covered for all of your birthday party needs, from the invitation to decorations, all the way to thank you stationery sets (because it is never too soon or too late to learn the value of sending thank you cards).
Designing the Invitation
Shutterfly makes it easier than ever to capture the personality of your teen and turn their individuality into a beautifully printed, custom invitation. The best part is, you can turn this into a memory-making experience with your teen and let them customize the invitation exactly as they want it. Together, upload your favorite pictures to one of Shutterfly’s many template options. Use the templates to arrange your favorite pictures to perfection. Utilize your preferred design elements to truly customize the invitations. You can personalize down to every detail—choose your favorite fonts, colors and custom message.
Be sure to include the day, time and location of the birthday party in the invitation. Your life will be much easier if you include your personal contact information for the RSVP, so that you can plan the party accordingly. Aim to send out the invitations at least three weeks before the birthday party to allow other parents time to make arrangements.
Hosting Your Teen’s Birthday Party
A fun activity you can do with your teen (or as a surprise gift) is to make a photo collage of them, their friends and all of their favorite photographs. Then, you can display all those special memories at the party. You can even turn your favorite memories of your teen into one-of-a-kind plates or pillows.
It might seem tricky at times to bond with your teen, but creating custom birthday party invitations together is the perfect opportunity to share memories—new and old. Shutterfly is here to help you kindle these memories, so that one day your child will thank you for all the hard work you did for them back in the day.
