2012 Holiday Cards
"Our family and friends loved our 2012 holiday cards! Normally we go to JCPenny to have our holiday pictures taken, but due to a timing and procrastination issue, we would not have recieved the cards back in time to mail them out before Christmas, so we pulled out the camera and the tripod and starting snapping pictures of the family. We uploaded the pictrues on Tuesday, ordered the cards on Wednesday and had cards in our hands by Friday. Now that we know how professional the cards came out, we will be ordering future holiday and special occasion cards from Shutterfly more often."

"I create art so instead of a photo of me, I send out a photo of an art piece on my Christmas Cards. This year I have used 3 different companies to create cards....shutterfly, my publisher, and thru my Mac photo program. Shutterfly was the best because of clarity and quality of digital photo, you can create on the front AND the back of the card, the fonts for changing type are expansive and the heavy weight card stock is a premium.
I also photographed and digitally enhanced photo's of my friends houses and created note cards with their homes on the front. Then will give them as Christmas gifts. Again the quality was superior and I am really pleased with the heavy weight card stock and lovely envelopes. I was also able to create return address labels with my design."

"I have been using Shutterfly for quite a while now (mostly for photo books) and they have continued to improve their tools to the point that I just love creating things with them. Of course, the more I get, the more I want. ;-) Sometimes I love a card/label design/color, but the photo orientation (landscape vs portrait) is wrong for the photo I want to use. But even my second choice turns out great! Just one tip for anyone going digital to print - remember that your photos will look brighter on a computer screen, so you may want to lighten some of them up for any printed versions. Maybe Shutterfly has suggested that and I've missed it. Anyway, thanks Shutterfly - you help the creative me and have become quite a friend. :-)"

"The cards were beautiful. The paper was very thick and made the cards feel more elegant. Our photo had a white background which looked perfect in this card."

"I love Shutterfly, this was the first project I did. Making Christmas cards was simple the hardest part was choosing a card. I liked so many and using the favorite's feature I was able to narrow it down. I was really surprised to receive an email when I was done that allowed me to track my package with Fed Ex daily. I received my cards pretty quick and I was really happy with the results. I love love them."
Get Inspired This Christmas Season
Sending your favorite people a warm holiday message with a Christmas card this year is one of the best ways you can share your favorite family photos with everyone. While most people continue to share pictures online, there’s something more special about getting a physical copy of a photo in your hands.
For a Christmas card photo, you may have gone all out in fancy clothes and a formalized pose for your family’s special look. As you begin the process of finalizing your card, it’s important to choose a quality paper that can make your pictures look as lifelike as possible. Photo paper holiday cards from Shutterfly are the best choice when it comes to sharing your family photo holiday greeting with your friends and family.
Make Your Greeting Shine with Delight
If you’ve ever tried to print photographs from a regular printer onto standard printer paper, you have probably been disappointed with the results. Colors may be washed out or may even run together. Faces become muddled messes and the fine details of a portrait may get lost. When you’re looking to personalize an important message to those you love, select a white holiday card to make sure your photos are bright and merry.
If you’ve spent a good amount of time arranging the perfect photo collage, you want it to look amazing. Or, if you’ve worked to create your own look, you want your efforts to customize to pay off. The only way to ensure your photo quality is right is to choose a photo paper option that is meant for printing pictures. Then, your pictures will look exactly how you imagine them in your mind.
Easy and Affordable to Mail
Photo paper cards are also not as thick as some other premium cuts of stationery. Without the additional weight of a thick paper, you don’t have to worry about spending extra postage on a premium Christmas card. With photo paper, you can still get the luxurious look, but without the extra price that many other premium products cost in mass mailings.
