Getting Ready with Bridal Brunch Invitations

A few days before your wedding, you’ll want to host a bridal brunch for your maid of honor and bridesmaids. This is a tradition that allows the bride to show appreciation to her closest sisters and friends, while also having a great time together before the big day. Bridal brunch invitations should be sent out at least three weeks in advance, with an RSVP card as well. If your bridesmaids are already planning on being a part of your wedding, they will more than likely already have the few days before the wedding set aside for you, but it’s important to make it all official. Aside from the bridal brunch invitations, you should consider the following in advance:

  • The Menu – Consult with your girlfriends on this one so everyone can enjoy themselves. You wouldn’t want to serve something that someone is allergic to or absolutely detests. Whether it will be a buffet or a three-course meal, it should be something well-thought out and prepared ahead of time.
  • The Location – If you’re planning to have the brunch at your home, you should hire a cleaning service to ensure it’s ready for the party. If you plan to go out, you’ll need to make reservations well in advance so you don’t have to stress over it.
  • The Gifts – The bride’s brunch is a great time for you to give your girlfriends their bridesmaid and maid of honor gifts. You could customize a piece of jewelry that you’ll want them to wear to the wedding, or you could personalize something else that has special meaning to the two of you.
  •  The Activities – Whether you want to plan some games, a craft or just have a good old conversation, make sure you plan the activities out. You don’t want your brunch to have a lull. If you know your girlfriends can keep the conversation going for a couple hours, that’s great! If not, you might want to have some type of activity planned, just in case.

Be prepared for your bridal brunch well in advance by thinking about the bridal brunch invitations, menu, location, gifts and activities. This will help you stress less and enjoy more.
