Shutterfly Names Andy Wood Chief Executive Officer REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA (April 4, 2001) Shutterfly, the leading online photo service, today announced that Andy Wood has been named Chief Executive Officer. Wood, former CEO of Sevant, Inc., will be responsible for managing the company's growth, strategic direction and taking the company to profitability. Andy Wood is replacing interim CEO Dave Bagshaw. "Andy Wood's expertise and leadership experience is exactly what Shutterfly needs to move the company to the next level," said Jim Clark, Shutterfly Chairman and investor. "He is the perfect person to help us build upon our market leadership, focus on driving growth and execute on our plan for profitability," Clark added. Wood joins Shutterfly with more than 25 years of domestic and international experience in the consumer product and technology-enabled service industries. Throughout his career, Wood has gained expertise in growing business operations in complex emerging markets. As CEO of EXEL Logistics, launched the North American business and successfully steered the company's revenue growth to $500 million in four years.
