1. Upload Your Art Or Photos

The first step in creating your wall art is uploading all the photos and images you’ll be using in your project. This is also essential to creating a stress-free personalization experience. Make sure to organize them in an easy-to-find folder and that all images are high enough quality for printing.

2. Pick A Template Or Design

Browse hundreds of different styles and designs of wall art to find the one that just right for you. Popular styles include modern, gallery, panoramic, collages, pets, and kids. You’ll also want to take into account the number of photos available in each layout. Make sure you choose a layout that can accommodate all the photos you want to include (like a collage) or consider purchasing additional wall art.

3. Choose Your Size, Paper, And Frame

Customize your wall art as little or as much as you want. Paper options include a matte or glossy finish on our premium cardstock. Sizing options include 36″ x 12″, 12″ x 12″, 20″ x 16″, 20″ x 30″, 24″ x 36″, 10″ x 8″, 24″ x 10″, 10″ x 14″, and 16″ x 16″. Most types of wall art can also be ordered with a matching frame if wanted.

4. Personalize

Add your photos to the project. Make sure they are cropped correctly in the preview and use the photo editor to make any edits necessary to bring your project to life. You may also change the background colors, captions, and more during this step.

5. Review Your project

Once everything looks finished, it’s time to review. It’s important to take time to make sure that there are no spelling errors, incorrect cropping, or other mistakes before ordering. It may also help to have someone else review your project.

6. Order Away!

After reviewing your project, it’s time to order. Add your project to your cart. Then visit your cart to make any changes to quantities, apply any special codes or offers, and review anything else before check out. Finally, make sure your shipping and billing information is correct before placing your order.

How To Hang Wall Art

1. Collect Materials

Make sure you have all the materials you need to see your project through. We recommend using the following supplies when measuring out and hanging any wall art:

  • A pencil
  • Hanging Materials (Nails, adhesive strips, J-hooks, sawtooth brackets, eye hooks)
  • Hammer
  • Screwdriver
  • Spirit level
  • Wall protector pads
  • Tape measure

3. Prepare The Wall And Mark With Pencil

The most important step to make sure your wall art hangs level and evenly spaced apart is making the initial measurements. After wiping down your wall with a damp cloth, measure out the dimensions of your chosen wall art and mark these on your wall. Make sure all art hangings at least 56 inches from the floor and eight to 10 inches above a piece of furniture. You’ll also want to mark the center point of each piece of wall art with an “x.” If needed, move any furniture our of the way before you begin hanging anything.

4. Hammer Time

Before beginning to hang your art, take the weight of each piece of wall art into consideration. How heavy your wall art is determines the type of materials you’ll need to hang it on. Many traditional frames and canvases will work fine on a traditional nail, but larger pieces may require sawtooth brackets or eye-hooks. Conversely, smaller pieces may hang just fine on adhesive strips.

Before using a hammer, make sure to use stick-on wall pads to protect the wall’s paint and avoid scratches on the wall. Next, place a nail over your mark and hit it with one or two quick taps of the hammer. You need the nail to stick firmly in the wall, but you’ll still want enough of it sticking out to allow the art piece space to hang on.

5. Hang Your Wall Art

Once you have your measurements and prep work completed, try hanging up your wall art. Check to see if it’s level, and then measure between art pieces to confirm that spacing is even. Don’t be afraid to start over or rearrangement placement of art pieces if you’re not completely happy with the layout. Once complete, step back and enjoy!
