Easter Invitations For Sunday School Classes

Include your church name, the Easter celebration date, class time, location, and intended age group. Add an RSVP contact and deadline if you need a head count. Mention any planned activities, such as a Bible lesson, music, or an egg hunt, so families know what to expect.

Keep your message joyful, welcoming, and centered on the meaning of Easter. For example: “He is risen! Join [Church Name] for an Easter Sunday school celebration on [Date] at [Time]. Come celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with our class.” Follow with the location and any RSVP details.

Soft spring colors, floral accents, and sunrise imagery can create a cheerful Easter theme. A cross or empty tomb illustration can highlight the religious focus, while eggs and bunnies can complement an invitation for a class celebration with seasonal activities. Keep event details easy to read and choose imagery that reflects your church’s traditions.

Make it clear that guests are welcome and that no previous Sunday school attendance is needed, if that matches your church’s policy. Include a brief description of the gathering, where families should meet, and whom to contact with questions. A line such as “We’d love to celebrate Easter with your family” adds a warm, personal touch.

Sharing invitations about three to four weeks before your celebration gives families time to plan around Easter services and other gatherings. If you need RSVPs, choose a deadline that allows time to prepare for your class activities. A brief reminder during the week before the event can help keep the details handy.
