"Every year, I order our Christmas cards from Shutterfly. The quality of the pictures and of the paper (we use cardstock) is beautiful, and we feel very pleased when we put them in the mail and when our friends let us know how much they liked them.
This year, I made a very bad mistake on the card that was sent in. Received my cards within a week, opened them and found I had put the wrong birthdate for our new twin grandbabies. Also used their nicknames instead of their given names... Needless to say, I was horrified to the point of feeling ill.
Before I attempted to "fix" the problems by putting labels over them (which would have looked tacky at best), I called Shutterfly Customer Service. Practically in tears, I explained my problem and asked if one of their staff could tell me the best thing to do. After being on hold for 2-3 minutes, she came back and said, "We are going to credit your VISA for the cards that you have and as soon as you correct the mistakes and send us the new copy, we will send you the new ones by Free Priority Mail. Merry Christmas!"
I have rarely, if ever, received such service!! It was the biggest Christmas gift we will receive this year for sure!
Thank you, Shutterfly. You are the BEST!!"
December 7, 2012We've relied on Shutterfly for 9 years for our holiday cards
"I am very happy with the quality and price of the cards. We receive our cards in about a week. We can put photos on the front, back, and insides of the card. We can put text all over, too. Everything happens within the templates you select. Shutterfly makes it easy to create a good looking card.
What could be done better?
1) Make the 5x7 cards truly 5x7. They used to be 5x7. They've been shrinking, and Shutterfly does tell you their exact dimensions.
2) When you sign your names on the card, the ink smears really easily. It would be great if Shutterfly would use a paper which would limit smearing, at least on the inside of the card.
3) It would be nice if the templates were a starting point, and one could move or resize the photo or text boxes.
These are niggles. Keep up the good work, Shutterfly."

"Excellent product-I am very pleased to use these cards."
December 27, 2012So close!
"I went with Shutterfly over other much less expensive options because they had the template I wanted to use. The delivery was good, the photo quality high, the paper quality exceeded my expectations. The fold however, was slightly off (approx 1/8 inch) Also, it was a two-sided card and the front photo did continue onto the back photo (approx 1/8 inch). If I wasn't on a time crunch, I would've considered having them redone. Overall, happy with product and just ordered three photo books for first time and not expecting any issues there."
December 5, 2012Cards and ornaments.
"I ordered ten free cards and they came back with brilliant colors and I received them in two days. Brilliant.
I also ordered two ornaments which are the best. Came a couple of days after the cards but I did not have to pay any additional shipping for the two separate packages. I love the ornaments the best. I will order more of those little gems."
