How do I collect addresses from friends and family?
You can use Shutterfly's Easy Address Collector to request addresses by text or email. Once someone submits their information, it can be added directly to your Shutterfly Address Book for future cards, invitations, and gifts.
How do I add addresses to my Shutterfly Address Book?
You can add contacts manually, import them using a CSV template, use the Easy Address Collector to request addresses from friends and family, or send a digital address file to Shutterfly for upload assistance.
Can I import addresses from another address book?
Yes. You can import contacts using a CSV file. For the best experience, download and use Shutterfly's CSV template before uploading your address list.
Can Shutterfly upload my address list for me?
Yes. If you already have addresses saved in a digital file, you can email them to addressbook.support@shutterfly.com along with your name and the email address associated with your Shutterfly account. Accepted file formats include Word, Excel, PDF, and Notepad files. Shutterfly will add the addresses to your account and notify you by email when your address book is ready.
How do I use my Address Book when ordering cards?
During the Addressing step when personalizing eligible cards, you can select recipients from your Shutterfly Address Book and add recipient and return address printing to eligible envelopes.
Does Shutterfly print recipient and return addresses on envelopes?
Yes. Recipient and return address printing are available on eligible envelopes. Shutterfly offers free address printing when you select a custom or pre-lined envelope.
What is Mail For Me®?
Mail for Me® Service allows Shutterfly to address, stamp, and mail your cards directly to your recipients for you. The service is available with plain white envelopes only.
Can I use Mail For Me® with custom envelopes?
No. Mail For Me® is only available with plain white envelopes. If you choose custom envelopes, your order will be shipped to you and you'll mail the envelopes yourself.
Can I use the Shutterfly mobile app for addressing services?
You can add a return address to eligible envelopes in the Shutterfly mobile app. To access recipient address printing, custom envelopes, and Mail for Me® options, use Shutterfly on a desktop computer.
