"My mother has always been a stickler about sending people "Thank You" notes. Even though I realize their importance, I'm sometimes a little lax in sending them, just because I don't have the right card or note paper on which to write them. Now, I have the perfect cards, because I was able to have one of my own photos transferred onto a very durable and classy looking card! "I find the process of designing the photo cards fairly clunky--upload the photos, choose layout options, etc. You have to take each card through the entire process before you can start on another. I do very much like the preview tab when designing my cards. The image is card-sized so you get an accurate idea of how your project will look. Once a project is done, the process to re-order is some better. You can also edit a project and save the new version, too. The quality of the cards is very good. The images print just over the edge to the back of the card as they are supposed to. Photos that are really sharp turn out nicely when printed edge to edge on cards. The availability of cards with colored or patterned borders is quite helpful, too, to give a different flavor to an image or help when the photo is not quite as clear at 5 x 7 as it is at 4 x 6."

"I am an artist and used Shutterfly's 5x7 folded card with envelope to reproduce my oil painting from a photograph. It printed beautifully and I am very pleased with the results. The colors stayed true. I left the inside blank so I can use the card for any occasion. My name and the title of the painting are on the back of the card. I plan on doing this a lot. A set of my assorted paintings reproduced onto cards will be a nice gift to give to admirers of my art!"
