Would have purchased, but.... I only gave 3 stars because I did not buy the product, but still had to rate it before I could write my review. My thoughts are that I did not buy the product because 1) There are not enough pieces. This was a gift for my aunt, who is a puzzle-holic and would have a 252 piece puzzle done in 30 minutes, or less, depending on the picture. 2). I totally agree with the other reviewers that there needs to be more options: from 16 pieces to 1000 pieces, depending who the gift is for. 3). It sounds like the pieces are not sturdy enough for more than one go around. 4). I think a frame for the puzzles is a great idea. January 26, 2013
Such a cute idea but POOR QUALITY So disappointed with the quality. Some of the pieces are already peeling away from cardboard backing. I have 4 kids and this will in no way hold up to repeat play. Guess it will look cute if glued together but that was not my original purpose! Have always been pleased with Shutterfly but this totally disappoints :( January 22, 2013
puzzle My puzzle came missing a piece and many of the pieces that I did have were in poor shape, peeling off before it was even being put together. This poor state of my puzzle was very surprising and disappointing. Usually shutterfly merchandise is great. January 19, 2013

Could have been better.............. I had ordered a puzzle and a photo block. At first go, both came out incorrect.Then i had ordered them again.The photo block was made exactly how i wanted, but the puzzle colors were again improper. Not satisfied with the final results. January 7, 2013
Pretty, but small I ordered a puzzle made from a vacation photo of Hogwarts Castle at Islands of Adventure, Orlando. The puzzle was a Christmas gift for my husband, who is a big puzzle lover. He was very excited to receive it, and we put together the puzzle a few days later. The pieces are the same quality as the other cardboard puzzles that we usually put together. When finished, the puzzle looked fantastic-- we plan to puzzle glue it, frame it, and hang it on the wall. The cardboard box that the puzzle came in is sturdy and black with a lovely copy of the photo on the lid. We're keeping the box to display in our office. I would rate this puzzle 5 stars if it came in a larger size with more pieces. A bigger puzzle would make a better piece of framed art, and more pieces would mean more entertainment value (more time to put it together). Another thing Shutterly might consider is selling frames specifically for the puzzles. We were able to find a reasonably priced frame online, but it would be convenient to order the puzzle and frame together, especially when giving the puzzle as a gift. January 3, 2013
Puzzle Review I ordered two puzzles for my sister who adores puzzles. I was very impressed with the product over all. The box was black with a picture on top and it looked very sharp. A few of the puzzle pieces were together, however they came apart very easily. It was pretty neat to see my son's eyes on one of the pieces and my sister's on another. I thought the puzzle pieces were just fine for quality. They seemed to be the same thickness as most puzzles. Without a doubt I will be buying more puzzles next year! December 18, 2012
Too Many Pieces, too flimsy Nice concept, but there are far too many pieces and the quality of the pieces is fair...they are too flimsy. I would recommend Shutterfly to offer puzzles in different sizes to appeal to younger kids, skill level, and to encourage better quality pieces. I would recommend 75-piece puzzles, 100-piece, 150-piece, and maybe 200-piece. Remember that not all pix look like the one Shutterfly is advertising for a Puzzle. Many pictures have few colors and make a 250+ piece puzzle VERY difficult. December 13, 2012
Not as good as Kodak's standard for puzzles I've been buying these puzzles for almost 10 years for our yearly Thanksgiving tradition of putting together a puzzle of our family photo and then framing it to hang in our game room. When Shutterfly bought Kodak this year, I was disappointed that their puzzles do not come in the same dimensions as the ones Kodak offered, thus making this year's puzzle different than all the others. But, the disappointments kept on coming once the puzzle arrived. It does not come in the cute tin that Kodak sent their's in, but just a cheap cardboard box with the picture glued to the top. Then, today (Thanksgiving Day) we put it together and I was most disappointed by the lower quality of the puzzle. Like another review said, it is kind of "cheaply made". The pieces don't fit together as tightly as the kodak puzzle did. This is a problem if you plan to display the puzzle as it makes dark shadow lines between the pieces. In the case of this year's puzzle, it looks like I have a gap between my front teeth because that is where two pieces come loosely together. The backing on the puzzle is just cheap brown cardboard, without the white embossing that was on the back of the Kodak puzzles. I think this may contribute to why the pieces don't fit as tightly together. Finally, the finish on the Kodak puzzles was a glossy finish. These new Shutterfly puzzles are much more matt and the surface is not smooth, but seems to have wrinkles where the pieces were pulled apart. Overall, I'm very disappointed that having bought Kodak, Shutterfly has not lived up to the same standard, especially since they charge just as much for these lower quality puzzles. November 22, 2012
Good and fun, but a little cheap I got my puzzle using an offer that ended up making it pretty close to free, so I really couldn't complain about it even if it came out awful. However, I was really really pleased with it overall. The quality & color of the picture is great! It comes is a pretty sturdy box. My only complaint was that quite a few of the pieces were not separated when I got the puzzle, which isn't a big deal except that when I went to pull them apart, I ended up bending a few of the pieces. It seemed like they weren't quite cut the whole way through. But this wasn't a big deal, and I just was more careful about pulling them apart from then on out, and I only had to "rip" a few to separate them. But really it's a very good and fun product that I would definitely order again! November 16, 2012
