Birthday Invitations With RSVP Details

Include a reply-by date, the name of the person collecting responses, and a preferred contact method, such as a phone number or email address. Ask guests to confirm whether they can attend and, when relevant, how many people in their party will join.

Keep your RSVP wording clear and suited to the celebration. For a casual party, try, “Ready to celebrate? Please text Jordan by May 10 to let us know if you can make it.” For a more formal gathering, use, “Kindly respond by May 10 to Jordan at [email address].”

An RSVP deadline one to two weeks before the party generally gives you time to finalize food, seating, and activities. If your venue or caterer needs an earlier guest count, choose a deadline a few days before that cutoff to allow time for follow-ups.

Place RSVP information in a distinct section after the party date, time, and location. A short line beginning with “Please RSVP” or “Kindly respond” makes the request easy to spot. Keep the deadline and contact details together so guests can respond without searching.

Address the invitation to the intended guests and use the RSVP request to clarify attendance. For example, “Please let us know how many adults and children will attend” works for a family celebration. For a child’s party, add whether parents are invited to stay or whether it is a drop-off event.
