Black And White Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

Include the couple’s names, the rehearsal dinner date and time, the venue name and address, and RSVP instructions. You can also add the hosts’ names, attire guidance, and any arrival details. If the ceremony rehearsal takes place separately, clearly distinguish its details from the dinner information.

Yes, a black and white palette can complement either style. Elegant lettering and understated layouts create a formal feel, while playful typography and conversational wording suit a relaxed gathering. Match the design and language to the atmosphere of your dinner.

Choose wording that reflects your celebration. For a formal dinner, try “Please join us for a rehearsal dinner honoring [Couple’s Names].” For a more casual evening, “Before we say ‘I do,’ join us for dinner with our favorite people” adds a warm touch. Follow your opening with the event details and RSVP instructions.

Rehearsal dinner invitations typically go to the wedding party, immediate family, and anyone participating in the ceremony rehearsal. Couples may also include partners, out-of-town guests, or other loved ones, depending on the gathering they have planned. Make it clear who is invited by naming each guest or household.

Carry over a design element from your wedding stationery, such as a monogram, lettering style, or border. A black and white palette pairs well with themes ranging from modern minimalism to vintage elegance. Repeating one or two details helps the rehearsal dinner feel connected to the wedding while keeping its own character.
