A Catholic christening invitation should include the child's full name, the date and time of the ceremony, the name and address of the church or venue, details about any reception or gathering afterward, and RSVP information. Optional details such as dress code or a meaningful scripture verse can also be added to personalize the invitation.

Q: Who should receive a Catholic christening invitation?

Christening invitations are typically sent to close family members, godparents, grandparents, and close friends. Some families also invite members of their parish community or other significant people in the child's life to share in the special day.

Q: Can I personalize the wording on a christening invitation?

Yes, many families choose to personalize the wording on their christening invitations. Alongside the essential event details, you can include a favorite prayer, scripture verse, or a personal message that reflects the significance of the occasion and your family's faith.
