Custom Cards For Long Distance Relatives

Share a favorite memory, a recent family milestone, or a small moment from your day. Add a personal note about what you miss most, such as Sunday dinners or laughing together over old stories. A closing like “Counting down to our next visit” makes your custom card feel heartfelt and personal.

Choose clear, meaningful photos that help relatives feel included in your life. A recent family portrait, a snapshot from a celebration, or a candid moment with the kids can tell a wonderful story. You can also pair an older family photo with a recent picture to highlight memories across generations.

Birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day are all meaningful reasons to connect. Custom cards also suit graduations, new baby announcements, and family milestones. A just-because card can turn an ordinary day into a chance to remind relatives that you’re thinking of them.

Build your message around your relationship with the recipient. Include an inside joke for a sibling, a cherished childhood memory for a grandparent, or a thank-you for an aunt or uncle’s encouragement. Mentioning the person by name and adding a detail only the two of you share gives the card a distinctive touch.

Invite each family member to add a short greeting, favorite memory, or update. Children can contribute a drawing, a signature, or an answer to a prompt like “What do you want to do together next time?” Bringing several voices into one personalized card creates a keepsake that captures your family at this moment.
