Custom First Communion Celebration Invitations

Include your child’s name, the date and time, the church name and address, and details for any celebration afterward. Add an RSVP deadline and contact information, along with any dress expectations or special instructions guests should know.

Choose wording that reflects the significance of the occasion while warmly inviting loved ones to celebrate. For example: 'Please join us as we celebrate [Child’s Name] receiving First Holy Communion.' Follow with the ceremony details, celebration location, and RSVP information.

A photo can make First Communion invitations feel more personal and create a meaningful keepsake. Choose a clear portrait of your child, such as a recent family photo or a picture in Communion attire, and pair it with an uncluttered design that keeps the event details easy to read.

White, ivory, soft blue, blush, and gold are popular choices for First Communion invitations. Crosses, chalices, wheat, grapes, and doves can reflect the religious meaning of the occasion, while floral accents or simple borders offer a more understated look.

Include both events when guests are invited to attend the ceremony and the celebration afterward. Clearly label each location and start time. If the invitation is only for the reception, use wording such as 'Join us for a celebration following [Child’s Name]’s First Holy Communion' and provide the reception details.
