Customized Holiday Dinner Invitations With Personalized Family Portraits

Make your family portrait the focal point, then add your family name, a seasonal greeting, and dinner details. Choose colors and lettering that complement the photo, and leave enough space around the text to keep your customized holiday dinner invitations easy to read.

Include the hosts’ names, holiday or occasion, date, start time, location, and RSVP instructions. You can also mention attire, whether guests should bring a dish, and how to share dietary preferences with the host.

Choose a clear, high-resolution portrait with good lighting and everyone’s face visible. A photo with room around your family gives you more flexibility when cropping. Coordinated colors can help create a cohesive design, but a candid family moment can feel just as festive.

Pair a warm opening with the essential event details. For example: “The Miller family invites you to gather around our table for Christmas dinner.” For a more casual gathering, try: “Join our family for good food, great company, and holiday cheer.”

Connect the portrait’s colors with seasonal design elements, such as autumn leaves for Thanksgiving, festive greenery for Christmas, or blue and silver accents for Hanukkah. For a general holiday gathering, consider stars, subtle metallic details, or a simple seasonal greeting.
