Easter Cards For Church Outreach

Include a warm Easter greeting, your church’s name, worship dates and times, and the gathering location. Add a brief invitation that welcomes newcomers, along with a website or contact information where recipients can learn more. A message such as “Celebrate the hope of Easter with us” keeps the focus on faith and connection.

Use clear, inviting language and explain what guests can expect, such as worship, music, or a children’s program if one is planned. Let recipients know they are welcome even if they have never attended your church. A personal note from a pastor or congregation member can make the invitation feel more thoughtful.

Matthew 28:6, John 11:25–26, and 1 Peter 1:3 are meaningful choices for Easter cards because they center on resurrection and hope. Choose a passage that complements your church’s Easter message, and identify the Bible translation when quoting it. Pair the verse with a short greeting so the invitation remains easy to read.

Consider including a photo of your church or congregation, a message from your pastor, or a greeting addressed to the recipient. Use wording and colors that reflect your church’s identity while keeping event details prominent. For neighbors or past visitors, a handwritten message can add a personal touch.

Crosses, lilies, sunrise imagery, and soft spring colors can complement a faith-centered Easter invitation. A church photo can also help recipients recognize where they are invited to gather. Keep the layout uncluttered, with a clear distinction between the Easter greeting and the worship details.
