Family Christmas Photo Card Sets

Choose clear, well-lit photos that capture your family’s personality, whether that means a posed portrait or a candid moment together. For a cohesive look, select images with similar lighting and colors, and leave room around faces so the card design can frame them well.

Pair a Christmas greeting with a short personal message and your family’s names. Try “Merry Christmas from our family to yours” for a classic sentiment, or “Sending love, laughter, and Christmas cheer” for a playful tone. A brief highlight from your year can make the message more personal.

Use the colors and mood of your photos as a starting point. A cozy indoor portrait pairs well with warm holiday tones, while a snowy scene can complement a crisp, understated design. Keep decorative details simple when your photo has a busy background.

Your Christmas card can feature the people and pets who make up your family, including grandparents, chosen family, or a beloved dog or cat. If everyone cannot gather for one portrait, a collection of individual photos can still tell a shared story.

You can list each person’s first name or use a shared family name, such as “The Miller Family.” If you use a plural last name, skip the apostrophe: write “The Millers,” not “The Miller’s.” For families with different last names, first names offer a simple, personal sign-off.
