Folded Wedding Program Cards

Folded wedding program cards typically include your names, wedding date, ceremony location, and order of events. You can also list your wedding party, recognize your officiant and ceremony musicians, and add a thank-you message for guests. For religious or cultural ceremonies, brief explanations of traditions can help guests follow along.

Use the front cover for your names, wedding date, and a welcoming title. Arrange the ceremony details and wedding party names across the inside panels, keeping related information together. The back panel is a thoughtful place for a thank-you note, a remembrance message, or directions to the reception.

Coordinate your folded wedding program design with the colors, typography, and decorative details used in your invitations and other wedding stationery. A monogram can create a classic look, while floral illustrations or a favorite photo can add a more personal touch. Keep the wording consistent with the tone of your celebration, whether formal, relaxed, or somewhere in between.

A remembrance message can be brief and heartfelt. For example, “We hold in our hearts the loved ones who cannot be with us today.” You may also name the people you wish to honor or include a meaningful quotation. Place the tribute in its own section so it feels intentional and easy to find.

Place folded wedding program cards on ceremony seats, arrange them in baskets near the entrance, or ask ushers to hand them to guests as they arrive. If you use a welcome table, position the programs beside a small sign inviting guests to take one before finding their seats.
