Graduation Invitations With Tassel Illustration

A tassel illustration connects your invitation to the graduation cap and the tradition of moving the tassel during commencement. It celebrates academic achievement and the start of a new chapter, making it a meaningful detail for graduation invitations.

Include the graduate’s name, the occasion, the event date and time, the location, and RSVP details. You can also add the school name, graduating class year, and a brief celebratory message. Make it clear whether guests are invited to the commencement ceremony, a graduation party, or both.

Use school colors as your starting point, or choose a palette that matches your celebration. A contrasting tassel color can draw attention to the illustration, while a tonal palette creates a more understated look. Keep the event details easy to read against the background.

A tassel motif can suit high school, college, and graduate school celebrations. Tailor the wording to the milestone by including the class year or degree earned. For younger graduates, a cheerful message can give the traditional graduation symbol a playful feel.

Short headlines such as “The Tassel Was Worth the Hassle,” “Hats Off to the Graduate,” or “A New Chapter Begins” complement a tassel illustration. Follow the headline with a clear invitation, such as “Join us to celebrate Jordan’s graduation,” then add the event details.
