Halloween Cards For Coworkers

Keep your message cheerful and appropriate for work. Try “Wishing you a Halloween full of treats!” or “Working with you is a real treat—Happy Halloween!” Add a brief thank-you or a shared team memory for a more personal touch.

Include each coworker’s name, a thoughtful note, or a lighthearted reference to a project you worked on together. For a photo card, consider a team picture from a past costume celebration, with permission from everyone pictured.

Pumpkins, smiling ghosts, black cats, and playful Halloween puns help create a festive tone. Choose imagery and wording that suit your workplace culture, and skip graphic horror or jokes that could make recipients uncomfortable.

Either approach can work. Individual cards offer room for personal messages, while a card addressed to the whole team is a simple way to share seasonal wishes. If you’re handing out cards during a group celebration, consider including everyone who participates.

Give your cards during the week leading up to October 31 or at a planned team Halloween celebration. If Halloween falls on a weekend, the last shared workday beforehand is a convenient opportunity to pass along your wishes.
