Holiday Cards With Floral Accents

Poinsettias, amaryllis, and winter roses are lovely choices for holiday cards with floral accents. Pair blooms with holly, evergreen sprigs, or berries for a festive look. A floral wreath can frame a greeting, while blossoms along the corners leave room for a favorite photo.

Start with the mood you want to create. Red flowers and deep green foliage give floral holiday cards a classic Christmas feel, while ivory blooms and soft blue accents suggest a wintry theme. Burgundy and blush create a romantic look. For photo cards, choose floral colors that complement the tones in your image.

Portraits with uncluttered backgrounds pair well with floral accents because they keep the focus on the people in your photo. Coordinated clothing and soft lighting can help the image feel cohesive with the floral artwork. Candid family moments, couple portraits, and pet photos can all add a personal touch.

Match your message to the floral design and the occasion. “May your season bloom with joy” adds a playful floral touch, while “Wishing you peace, love, and a beautiful new year” suits a variety of seasonal celebrations. For Christmas cards, try “Merry Christmas, with love from our family to yours.” Finish with your names or a short personal note.

Yes. Winter blooms, leafy wreaths, and botanical borders can complement Season’s Greetings and New Year’s cards as well as Christmas cards. For a greeting that spans several celebrations, pair floral artwork with wording such as “Warmest wishes this holiday season” or “Cheers to a joyful new year.”
