Striped Sherpa Blankets For Couches

Striped sherpa blankets add pattern and a cozy finishing touch to a couch. Pair bold stripes with solid-colored pillows for contrast, or choose subtle stripes to bring visual interest to a more understated living room.

For a gray, beige, or cream couch, look for stripes that echo an accent color in your rug or artwork. On a colorful couch, neutral stripes can create balance. Repeating one couch color within the stripe pattern helps tie the arrangement together.

Fold the blanket lengthwise over a couch arm for a tailored look, or drape it loosely across a corner for a relaxed feel. Let part of the striped pattern show, and add a solid-colored pillow to keep the arrangement from looking too busy.

Follow the blanket’s care label for washing and drying instructions, since requirements can vary. Check any guidance about detergent, heat, and spot cleaning before treating a spill. If the blanket includes decorative details or personalization, follow any additional care directions provided.

A striped sherpa blanket makes a thoughtful gift for a housewarming, wedding, birthday, or holiday gathering. Choose a stripe palette that reflects the recipient’s taste or complements their living room, and include a card with a heartfelt message.
