Vow Renewal Save The Dates

Vow renewal save the dates are optional, but they’re helpful when guests need time to arrange travel or plan around a busy season. They’re especially useful for destination celebrations and milestone anniversaries. Share them with guests you plan to invite, then follow with a formal invitation closer to the event.

Aim to share your save the dates about six to eight months before your vow renewal. For a destination celebration or holiday weekend, eight to twelve months gives guests more time to plan. Confirm your date and location before making the announcement.

Include your names, the vow renewal date, and the city and state where you’ll celebrate. Make it clear that you’re renewing your vows, and add a note that a formal invitation will follow. If you have an event website, include its address for additional planning details.

Choose wording that reflects your relationship and the tone of your celebration. For a classic announcement, try: “Please save the date as we renew our vows and celebrate our life together.” For something more playful, try: “We still do! Save the date for our vow renewal celebration.” Add your names, date, and location.

An original wedding portrait, a recent couple photo, or a then-and-now pairing can help tell your story. Choose clear images with room for readable event details. A favorite travel photo or candid moment can also make the announcement feel personal, especially when it reflects the years you’ve shared.
