Wedding Thank You Cards Blank Inside

Wedding thank you cards with a blank interior give you room to write a personal message for each guest. Rather than relying on a prewritten greeting, you can mention their gift, recall a moment from the celebration, and share what their support means to you.

Start by greeting the recipient by name, then thank them for their gift or participation in your wedding. Add a specific detail, such as how you plan to use their gift or a memory you shared, and close with a warm sign-off from both of you. For example: “Dear Maya, thank you for the beautiful serving bowl. We look forward to using it when we host our first holiday dinner as newlyweds. It meant so much to celebrate with you! With love, Alex and Jordan.”

For gifts received before the wedding, aim to send a thank you card within about two weeks. For gifts received at the wedding or afterward, aim to send your notes within three months of receiving them. If you fall behind, a heartfelt late note is still worth sending.

Focus your message on their presence and the part they played in your celebration. You might thank them for traveling, joining you on the dance floor, or sharing a meaningful toast. A wedding thank you card can express appreciation for their time and support without mentioning a gift.

Look for a design that echoes the colors, lettering, or visual details of your wedding invitations and decor. A floral motif can recall your ceremony flowers, while a simple typographic design can complement a minimalist celebration. Keep the overall look cohesive, then use the blank interior to make each message personal.
